January 14th, 965: During the Asgard/Jotunheim War, the Battle of Tønsberg occurs. Bor orders for the Aether to be hidden in the deepest most inaccessible area possible. In an effort to save his race, Malekith kills most of his army and much of Bor’s army, then puts his remaining forces into a sleep that lasts for millennia. He is defeated by Bor of Asgard, who goes on to lock the Aether away since it cannot be completely destroyed. Convergence, the dark elf Malekith attempts to control the Aether (also known as the Reality Stone) on Svartalfheim, the home planet of the Dark Elves. 3,000 B.C.E.: Approximately every 5,000 years, the Nine Realms align, creating portals, gravity shifts, and other strange occurrences in an event dubbed the Convergence. During the 3,000 B.C.E. The Kree abandon Earth, leaving behind six Diviners, the city, and at least one of their deceased members.Īpprox. The Kree upper hierarchy discovers the rogue faction’s illegal activities, forcing the operation to be abandoned. The Diviners can only be opened if an Inhuman brings them to a specially designed city built beneath the planet’s surface. They create the Diviners, which are containment devices designed to hold Terrigen Crystals. One of the planets visited is Earth, and the Kree experiments create the first Inhumans, who achieve superhuman abilities when exposed to the Terrigen Mist. 400,000 B.C.E.: A rogue Kree faction visits numerous planets and genetically alters a collection of sentient life forms to create biological weapons so that they can overcome their enemies. Over time, they are overwhelmed by the Stone’s power and attempt to dispose of it by containing it in an Orb and storing it in a secret temple vault on the planet Morag.Īpprox. The entities known as the Celestials use the Power Stone to impose judgment upon their enemies. The Big Bang: Shortly after the beginning of the universe, the cosmic entities created the six Infinity Stones: Space, Mind, Reality, Power, Soul, and Time.
